Wednesday 29th April 2020 – Gingko Class

Halfway through another week of lockdown and time for another Gingko Class update! Sorry I don’t have quite so much to share today, but what I do have is good – we might even have a new member of the class!

Eleanor and Lucas found out that Roman army formations were inspired by tortoises! I did not know that, which just goes to prove that you never stop learning.

Here’s Eleanor holding the Brownlie family’s baby tortoise.

Alfie did really well with his Maths and sent me a copy of his arithmetic test.

And finally, Eleanor (and Lucas) had some help with their skeleton science from their baby tortoise! I can’t wait to see how many other lessons are going to involve the tortoise! I think in the next blog we need to reveal the tortoise’s name (and maybe make him/her an honorary member of Gingko Class?).

That’s all for today Gingko Class. Don’t forget to let me know how you’re getting on during lockdown and maybe I will be able to include you (or your pets?) on our next blog.

Stay safe. Be kind to each other (especially your family, including your brothers and sisters!).

Mrs Peach
