Monday 27th April 2020 – Jackalberry – Home learning activities

Good morning, I hope you all enjoyed the lovely weather over the weekend?

Jessyka and family have been busy getting out and about, going for walks and bike rides and have also managed to feed the ducks.

She has also got creative and has decided to take her bedroom decoration to her own hands!

Alongside designing birthday cakes, Jessyka and her family have baked cakes, cookies and even salt dough hand Prints.

Jessyka also enjoyed the Pet Care of a Dog reading/ writing activity.

Bella set herself the challenge of creating a rainbow from her outfits! Well done Bella, I’m not sure I have that range of coloured clothes. I do have a lot of green and white tops though :-).

Bella and family have also been keeping butterflies. Their first butterfly flew away on Saturday. They watched it as it stretched its wings and drank from some fruit they gave it. Yesterday, at the hottest part of the day, they opened the net lid and it very quickly flew up and away! It was a Painted Lady butterfly. They are hoping the other chrysalises will open soon too.
