Wednesday 1st April 2020 – Tamarind Class Blog

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading and replying to your emails, Tamarind class and it’s been so lovely to hear about all of the creative and exciting things you have been getting up to for your home learning.

Lots of you have been keeping fit at home – Eva has been out running with her mum, taking her dog for a walk and on a bike ride, Riley has been enjoying evening outings on his bike and Poppy Ch, Riley, Jennifer and Tilly have been joining in with Joe Wicks each morning:

The baking continues too! Jennifer has baked a Dorset apple cake (her next challenge is a Victoria sponge!), Tilly has made cheese straws and sausage rolls, Esme made some beautiful cupcakes for the NHS and I used Jessica’s honey in my homemade granola:

I have also loved seeing the maths, English and geography learning taking place – Tilly made a Powerpoint presentation about different rivers of the world, Riley has created different wordsearches to solve, Esme and Poppy Ch have been practising their times tables and Esme has also written a story:

Jessica’s chickens are settling in well – apparently Miss Pearmain enjoys cuddles with Jessica….

Finally, I have loved seeing your other creative learning tasks – rainbows with teddy bears from Jacob, playing in a hammock with her family from Tilly, Kim’s game and origami from Jennifer, star gazing from Riley, salt dough creations from Esme and model building from Travis:

Keep on sending me your fantastic photographs, Tamarind and I will blog again on Friday.

Stay safe and take care – Miss P x
