‘Primary Inspection Data Summary Report’

Towards the end of last month I received a summary report highlighting the schools recent performance in the end of Y6 national examinations.  This report is accessed and viewed by OFSTED prior to an inspection.

HEADLINES:

  • Key stage 2 attainment of the expected national standard (100+) in reading, writing and maths was significantly above the national average and in the highest 20% of all schools in 2019 as well as in 2018.
  • Key stage 2 attainment of the high standard (110+) in reading and writing was significantly above national and in the highest 20% of all schools in 2019.

Whilst it is very much appreciated to receive the accolade for the schools strong track record of academic success, I get the honour on a daily basis of observing quality learning, polite, respectful and hard working pupils, an exciting range of clubs and a motivated and dedicated workforce.  It is an absolute privilege to be the Headteacher of such a wonderful school.
