Tuesday 12th February 2019 – Year Six at Liddington – Day Two

Day Two!

Our first night was a great success.  There was a few knocks on doors early on, but by midnight, everyone was asleep for an undisturbed night – until at least 5 am.  So, some room for development!

We had our first breakfast, then headed out for our first full day of activities.  Again, the five groups experienced a range of different things: the zip wire, survivor, crate challenge, Jacob’s ladder, aeroball, fencing and vertical challenge all took place at some point today.

After another hearty dinner, the day is now finishing with ‘Splash!’ – an evening of fun and games in the sports hall, carefully designed to drain children of any remaining energy they might have before bed.  Several children have asked today whether the evening activity could be shortened so they could have an early night, so we’re looking forward to some imminent peace and quiet.

As ever, we’ll be posting updates to facebook and twitter throughout tomorrow. and there’ll be a proper update during the evening.
