Friday 17th November 2017 – Impact of building works:

Filed under: Whole School @ 12:07 pm

Dear Parents/Carers,

The main building work at the rear of the school (by the swimming pool steps/parent shelter) is scheduled to start on Monday 20th November.

From this date, there will be NO pedestrian or vehicular access to this part of the school.

Please can we ask all parents/pupils to follow the access plan below?

Early Bird Club – Drop off / Tree Tops Collection:
 Park as normal on the lower playground.
 Follow the foot path around the school (passing Reception on your right) until you get to the computing suite door. This is the last external classroom door opposite the school garden area.
 Ring the doorbell and a member of staff will come down to open the door for you.

School Clubs:
 Cross country: Enter the school via the front doors (Reception)
 Swim Squad: Follow the footpath around the school (passing Reception on your right) until the path veers off to the swimming pool.
 Choir & Drama/Tae Kwon Do/Karate/Dance Busters/Rugby/Football: Please collect your children from the front of the school (Reception). Club staff will bring the children to the main front doors.

Collecting children at the end of the school day:
 Children in Y3&4 (ground floor) will exit their classrooms at the back of the school and walk around to the front entrance area.
 Children in Y5&6 will exit the school using the double white doors adjacent to the School Office.
 Teachers will still come out with their classes
 This whole area is likely to get very congested with parents so it may be worth arranging to meet your son/daughter down on the large playground.

I appreciate your support in helping us to minimise the impact and inconvenience during this busy time.

Kind regards,

Mr D Campbell
