Reading Picnic:
The whole school reading picnic will be taking place on the school field on the afternoon of Monday 3rd July (2.30-4.30pm). Parents are welcome to join us from 3pm. You are more than welcome to bring along a picnic tea and a blanket to enjoy the sunshine and stories with your children.

Transfer Day:
On the morning of Thursday 6th July, all pupils will spend the morning working in their new classes. They will have the opportunity to get to know their new teacher as well as gain a small insight about the year ahead. The Y6 pupils starting Swanmore College in September will spend the whole day at the college.

Fun Sports:
Please feel free to come along and support the children as they compete in the annual FUN SPORTS COMPETITION. Children will be organised into small teams (representing their house – lions/leopards/tigers/pumas) and will participate in a carousel of fun sporting activities.

Upper School (Yrs 5/6) – 1.15 – 2.45pm

Summer BBQ:
(For pupils/staff/parents/friends of BWJS)
This year, the end of term BBQ (FOBS) will be held on Friday 14th July, 6.00-8.00pm. A BBQ & Bar will be provided along with a range of entertainment and fun for everyone.

Year 6 Summer Production:
Pupils in Year 6 are busy rehearsing for their end of year production of ‘Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits.’ Information about ticket sales will be sent out shortly. Performances will take place in the school hall on the evenings of Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th July.

M&M Theatre Production:
On the morning of Monday 24th July, the whole school will get the opportunity to watch a theatre production of ‘Treasure Island’ taking place in the school hall. FoBS have kindly agreed to pay for this special event so it can be enjoyed by all pupils.
