Friday 28th March 2014 – Swanmore Science Masterclass

Every Wednesday after school some pupils have been attending a Science master class at Swanmore Secondary from 4:00-5:00pm. We have done loads of fun experiments like making a rainbow and looking at dead stuff like a flea; cockroach head and a head louse (ugh!). One week we also extracted some DNA from fruit. The last week of it was very fun as we got to do it for a whole day. We had to find a thief by applying the skills we had learnt for the past weeks.
We had to solve who assaulted the technician, Miss Etheridge. Her iPhone was stolen when she was assaulted. Everyone thought it was a girl called Emma or a girl called Catriona.  Turns out it was actually a boy called Jack. It was very fun trying to work out who it was.
