Wednesday 9th January 2013 – Day 3 at Liddington

Well, we are well and truly settled into a routine here and loving every minute of it! We’ve had another packed day of activities including the zip wire, low ropes, the crate challenge and mountain biking. The children have shown real enthusiasm for all the sessions and many of them have really challenged themselves and overcome some fears (especially of heights!) All the staff have been really impressed with their behaviour and manners when talking to the PGL staff but have also noticed the amazing team work and support they are offering each other as they conquer each task. After another fantastic meal (sausage and mash) we were treated to a ‘onesie parade’ as requested by the children. I think you’ll agree that they look stunning and really strutted their way down our make-shift catwalk! This was followed by a room inspection; they are getting the hang of folding their clothes now! As we are all exhausted we have finished the night off with a DVD before bed. It’s our last full day tomorrow and we’re embarking on Jacob’s ladder, the giant swing and survival skills sessions. See photos below!
