Tuesday 17th April 2012 – Bird Box Update

Filed under: Whole School @ 9:08 am

We are pleased to announce that during our Easter break from school, blue tits have started nesting in the bird box that F.O.B.S. kindly bought us last term.  This is such an exciting time for all the children and staff in school, because it is a bird box with a camera and whenever any class have their library session they can see the progress of the nest on the television which we are leaving switched on at the moment.  The blue tits are visiting the nests frequently now, approximately every two minutes, bringing things to build the nest.  Hopefully within the next week or so we will be able to see blue tit eggs, but we will keep you up to date with any exciting developing news!
