Mr Campbell started our assembly this morning by reminding the children that their Enterprise money needs to be brought into school by the end of next week please in a box or bag with name and class name.  We then went on to beautifully sing ‘Lovely Summer Day’.

Sports certificates were awarded to George, Lizzie, Natasha, Abby, Issy and Tim for the Hampshire Schools Biathlon.  Also, swimming certificates were awarded to Luke, Kieran, Jamie, Max, Finn, Hollie, Lydia, Bea, Aimee, Janina, Lizzie, Emily, Florence, Jacob and Fergus.  Miss Pearmain told the assembly about Bea and Izzy’s tremendous achievements in gymnastics.  Both girls received t-shirts, medals and certificates.

This week’s Value of the Week was Thinking skills.  Our winners were Leah (Ginkgo), Prajan (Jackalberry), Matthew (Redwood), Jenny (Tamarind), Joseph (Hawthorn, and cup winner), Daisy W (Maple) and Louisa (Eucalyptus).

Value Awards from last week’s assembly for Responsibility were awarded to Bradley (Jackalberry), Charlotte (Gingko) and Jake (Redwood).

Maple Class presented Miss Pearmain with two cards because she is leaving us today to have an operation.  Thankfully, she will be back in September.  Get well soon, Miss Pearmain, from all the children and staff at BWJS.

Congratulations to the many children who received a certificate in our celebration assembly this morning and a massive thank you to all the parents who came along to the assembly to support their child.
