Friday 4th February 2011 – Celebration Assembly

We had a brilliant celebration assembly this morning and many parents attended to watch their child receive a merit certificate.

RSPB certificates were presented to Ellen, Bella, Abbie, Abby, Dylan, Oakley, Victoria, Ben, Kieran, Luke, Katie Ellen, Phoebe, Eve, Aaron, Amy and Amber.  They received the certificate for taking part in the Big Schools’ Birdwatch  January 24th – 29th (see display in room 4) and for showing lots of enthusiasm and now being able to recognise many of the birds around our school grounds.

A music certificate for playing the flute was awarded to Abbie.  Annabel received a certificate from the Royal Academy of Dance. 

Netball certificates of achievement were presented to Laura, Robert, Abby, Charlie, Florence, Lizzie and Emily (A team) and Kirsten, Katy, Tim, Ellen, Libby, Janina and Maria (B team).  These certificates were in recognition of their great performance against Swanmore.

Football certificates for playing a match at Liphook were awarded to Liam, George, Archie, Sam, Lawrence and Kieran.

50 Team Merits certificates went to Oliver, Joseph, Cameron, Hannah, Jennifer, Libby, Jack, Charlotte, Danciel, Georgia, Molly and Annabel.  100 Team Merits were awarded to Alexander, Phoebe and Lauren.  150 Merits certificates were awarded awarded to Casie and Chloe.

 Team merits: 1st – Tigers (207), 2nd – Lions (155), 3rd – Leopards (149) and 4th – Pumas (143).  This week’s Value of the Week was for creativity.   The winners were Jake (Tamarind), Lawrence (Eucalyptus), Megan (Jackelberry), Emily (Gingko), Phoebe (Redwood), Casey (Hawthorne) and Gemma (Maple) who won the trophy this week.
